The Shocking Truth
Women leaders are leaving the workplace in droves, and it's a crisis we can't ignore. Reports from McKinsey, Cranfield, and Deloitte reveal the truth: for every 1 woman joining the boardroom, 2 are leaving. Diversity targets alone won't solve the problem, they are a “sticking plaster” over a much deeper issue, placing women in unchanged work environments leads to burnout and exits within 12-18 months.
But it's not just about business—women leaders are also primary caregivers, caught in the "sandwich years" of caring for children and aging parents. Add in the chaos of menopause, with sleepless nights and foggy brains, and it's no wonder they feel isolated and overwhelmed.
The result? Talented women, who’ve climbed so far, are stepping away from the careers they excelled in. It’s time to face this issue head-on, challenge the status quo, and create environments where women can truly thrive.
We wanted to find out more and so set up the TGC Insight Survey to uncover the shocking truth....

- These data will ignite critical conversations among our members, thought leaders, media, government and businesses alike.
- Act as a benchmark to track changes over time and audit organisations on the reality of how their women leaders are feeling.
